Clare Furler is an innovatice and creative freelance Graphic and Website Designer, based in Stamullen, Co. Meath.

After studying design for four years in D.I.T. Mountjoy Square, she graduated in the year 2000 with a BA in Design (Visual Communications). From here she went to work in various printing companies. During her 5 years in this area, she learned everything there is to know about print design, including imposition, colour seperations, ripping to imagesetters, litho printing and digital printing and finishing. She held both junior and senior Graphic Design positions.

In 2005, Clare decided to go out on her own as a freelance graphic designer and this is when Clare Furler Design was born. For the past 6 years the business has grown from strength to strength. Bringing her knowledge from the printing world, Clare has been designing print work for many clients. After about a year, she ventured into website design and this is where things really took off. She formed a niche with dental practices across the country, designing websites for the likes of Dental Options in Clane, Co. Kildare, John O’Mahony Dental Practice in Tullamore, Paul Dowling Orthodontics, New Smile Dental Clinic in Sligo and Gerard Mannix in Tralee, Co. Kerry, to name but a few.

In more recent times, Clare has also had a few clients come to her with an existing website looking for her to optimise it for Google, revamp sometimes and manage. Three of these include Loughcrew House and Gardens, Belgrave Dental Clinic and Cork City Dental. Some of these websites are ongoing projects and are continuing to grow with the businesses themselves. Clare will continue to manage all of the websites she has designed for as long as the client wishes.

It is not only large businesses that Clare Furler Design caters for. Some clients are individuals or small businesses starting out. Some are organisations like the health board or Meath County Council Arts Office.

For a lot of Clare Furler Design clients, it is not only websites she has designed for them. The process sometimes starts off with just a logo for the company or individual. This can then progress to business cards, a flyer or brochure and then a website in the future maybe.
